Looking to run your own intergenerational activities?
We know that there’s a lot of enthusiasm for bringing generations together but sometimes it can be hard to know where to start, especially without the right support.
Our Empower programme is here to help.
As experienced intergenerational practitioners, we want to share our knowledge and help support individuals and organisations across the UK to run their own intergenerational activities.
How it works
We’ve developed two tools to support the delivery of intergenerational activities across the UK - our relationship tool and our activity hub of resources.
Do you work at a retirement scheme or care home? Are you looking for something new to offer residents?
Our relationship tool matches older people’s housing with schools so that they can run their own intergenerational activities. Teachers and scheme managers are supported every step of the way by our dedicated team - from helping with those initial conversations to providing everything you might need to run an intergenerational workshop.

Whether you’re a local community group leader looking to connect the generations or you’re simply on the hunt for a family-friendly activity, our activity hub can help.
Full of free resources to help bring generations together, you’ll find everything from quick games and icebreakers to longer learning-based activities.
You can access the Activity Hub here. If you’ve used the Activity Hub and have found it useful, please get in touch - we’d love to gather your stories of intergenerational connection.
