This week we published The Intergenerational Press - our first magazine made by older and younger people.
In the magazine, older and younger people share what they have learned from each other and their favourite moments - from 100th birthday celebrations to decorating snow people together. Older people also shared their wisdom on getting older and - as if that wasn’t enough! - there are also drawings to enjoy and a puzzle section at the end.
The Intergenerational Press follows on from our previous magazines - The Children’s Press and The Senior Press. Created during the lockdowns, the magazines helped people of different generations connect when InCommon’s usual workshops weren’t possible.
We’re distributing the magazine to older and younger people at our intergenerational parties where we’ll be celebrating our time spent together and the friendships made. Before we say goodbye for the summer, we’re also gathering feedback from workshop participants for our upcoming Impact Report. We can’t wait to share the findings with you this Autumn. In the meantime, why not read last year’s Impact Report?
