We bring people together, young and old, to find out what they have in common.

InCommon bridges generational divides. We connect groups of young people with their older neighbours in retirement homes to learn and build friendships together. Our activities help to boost older people's wellbeing, support children's social and emotional learning, and build more age-friendly communities for all.

I loved every bit of it. I had been feeling unwell and wasn’t going to come but I feel better after seeing the children. I told them about memories I have of the war and heard about their interests. They were lovely and so polite!
— Diane, older volunteer
The residents really enjoyed it - it’s been great having the kids come here. Every time they’ve brought energy and that’s lasted even after they’ve left. We’d love to have them back again.
