InCommon is a charity connecting groups of young people with their older neighbours so they can share experiences, celebrate differences and learn from one another.
What we do
We create opportunities for young people and older people to connect in their communities, boosting connection and confidence for people of all ages.
Partner with us
We run our intergenerational programmes in partnership with housing associations, care homes, schools, youth groups and more.
Want some help bringing generations together?
Our Empower programme supports housing associations and care homes across the UK to set up and deliver intergenerational projects that boost wellbeing and increase connections.
Marten House and London Meed Primary are one of our longest running Empower projects. Based in West Sussex, the retirement scheme and school were connected in June 2022 as part of our pilot and have since met each term.

Join us at the Age-Friendly Awards
We’re delighted to be running the Age-Friendly Awards for a third year in partnership with Clarion Futures, the charitable foundation of the UK’s largest housing association Clarion Housing Group, and the #iWill Fund.
Join us as we celebrate the individuals and organisations across England that are making their communities more age-friendly through intergenerational social action.
